It’s great that you have a website, or a Facebook Business Page or a LinkedIn Company page for your business.
But have you registered your business and made it an official legal business?

Just having a name for your business and creating a website with that name, does not make you an official business. To be an official legal business, you need to register your business entity with your state if you’re in the U.S. or with your country’s necessary business formation office in other countries.
When you register, there are certain legal steps that you fulfill to be an official legal business.
