Description

In this episode I’m thrilled to be joined by my friend Gopal. We discuss his fascinating background and role at the UN, why does the UN exist, what work is he doing within climate change, working with the UN on food, and the importance of vegetarianism as well as what matters to Hindus as well as other areas of improvement. We also discuss what lessons come from Covid, and if 2020 has given us all the clear focus we all so desperately needed to wake up from this illusion. Now, how can we come back better to shape society in a more green, sustainable and positive way so we can do away with malnourishment or famine and heal Mother Earth from carbon emissions and restore the rich biodiversity necessary for the chain of survival, the coral reef, oceans and do away with plastics. I have enormous respect for Gopal D. Patel who is the Co-Founder and Director of Bhumi Global, a non-profit organization that works to educate and mobilize Hindu communities globally for environmental action. He has been an environmental activist, campaigner and consultant for over 10 years, working in India, East Africa, Europe and North America. A global leader in the religious environmental movement, he has been honored for his work by Prince Philip at Buckingham Palace, spoken at the White House, and currently serves as an Advisor on Religion and Sustainable Development to the United Nations. Born and raised in the England, he currently lives with his wife in New York City. Sending you all love and light. 🙏❤️
