Today marks the 48th year of my journey around the Sun! So what better way to celebrate than to sit down with my South African cousin Eric Wiebols to talk about his Solar Energy business (My Generation Solar). I always find Eric fascinating to speak with and recently when I visited him in Johannesburg I was inspired by how he generates enough energy himself to run his entire house, plus his car and with the surplus mine Bitcoin. We discuss Eric's perspective on the decline of the nation state and the rise of the sovereign individual enabled by decentralised access to resources.
