Description

Welcome to another episode of How She Owns It. In today's Ask Pauline episode, I know that it's easy to get overwhelmed in all these business terms. KPIs, metrics, vanity metrics. Oh my! Today, I'm here to clear any confusion and explain what's the difference between them all.

[00:00:40] KPI or key performance indicator, is a measurable value that tracks and shows you how good your business is achieving its key objectives.

[00:01:37] Metrics are just numbers that track the progress or performance of your team members or specific departments towards any key objectives that you have.

[00:02:48] Vanity metrics is very common in social media. Usually these numbers are the ones that can support your ego, but not give real insight for valuable statistics.
