Welcome to yet another episode of the Top Three Podcast! In this episode, Miguel and Zach are joined by special guest, Hunter sophomore and Top Three editor Declan Walsh to discuss candy. The three argue over their favorite chocolate candies, the most overrated candies, the best candy to get for Halloween, and Hot Takes from you, the listeners.
Starting off with best chocolate candies, there seems to be some consensus of a top 2, especially among Declan and Miguel, however Zach continues to bring up British origins, mentioning a certain British chocolate bar. As they continue on to Almond Joy, controversy begins to run high on candies such as Almond Joy and Twix, and the debates among all three continue into best Halloween candy. Declan and Miguel both argue over each other’s full top three, and Zach gives a questionable pick in his top three as well. He also brings an interesting business take up, that the others don’t seem to think it was such a great idea. Lastly, the three go over hot takes written by the listeners, and while some of the takes were questionable, Miguel, Zach, and Declan seemed to agree on their thoughts on most, including takes on tootsie rolls, lollipops, and even candy in general.
