Welcome back to another episode of the Top Three Podcast! In this episode Hunter sophomore Evelyn Fitzpatrick joins Zach and Miguel as a special guest, and together they discuss TV, going over our favorite childhood shows, favorite TV show characters of all time, favorite TV shows, and a special new section called Hot Takes, where all of us pick our favorite hot takes that you, the listeners, sent!
Starting off with favorite childhood shows, there is plenty of agreement among the three although there is little overlap in the shows mentioned, and a few old-school shows even pop up. Going to favorite TV characters, Zach mentions multiple characters from a show that Evelyn also likes, but Miguel which finds boring, which leads to some arguments over whether the show is actually good. Onto favorite TV shows, more arguments ensue, including whether every season of a show needs to be good in order for it to be in someone’s top three. Finishing off with the brand new segment Hot Takes, each of Evelyn, Zach, and Miguel read three hot takes from listeners (takes sent via Instagram) and they discuss each one and whether or not they agree with the bold statement, leading to some disagreement, although an ultimate consensus decision is made for each take.
