Merry Christmas! Today I share with you the best gift I have ever received; my first born, the one who made me a momma! Desiree was born in Wisconsin, grew up in a small village where she played softball, participated on the dance team, and the yearbook committee. Her mother was so proud of her when she won several awards, including "Best Hugs" and 1st place in the seventh grade science fair. Born the quiet observer, she has a knack for weeding out the riff raff from the good people, and has often been called her mother's body guard. Well adjusted and seemingly un-phased by the back and forth between mom and dad's houses, she is now a beautiful young woman with a very good head on her shoulders. This makes all of her parents very proud. She now resides in an even tinier town, is studying youth ministry online, works for USPS, loves her wildly extended families, her boyfriend, their cat, and Jesus Christ.
