Episode 4 of Inside Warhawk Athletics Presented by Educators Credit Union includes a conversation with Jessica Sabey, an outside hitter for the UW-Whitewater volleyball team from 2012-16. Jess currently serves as Director of Operations for the volleyball team at Marquette University. During her playing career at UW-Whitewater, she finished with 656 kills, a .209 hitting percentage and 2.57 kills per set, and helped the Warhawks reach the NCAA Tournament in all five seasons. Jess was a 2014-15 National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American, a member of the 2014 WIAC Volleyball All-Sportsmanship Team, a four-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and a UW-Whitewater Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete in 2016.
Jess talks about her career in coaching, her five years as a Warhawk, her experience and recovery from a devastating injury during her junior season and how her time at UW-Whitewater has helped her in her career. She also answers five "quick hitter" questions at the end of the podcast.
