Description

I'm baaaaack and I'm coming in hot with this episode where I share my experience with imposter syndrome as a women of color in the influencer industry, the coaching industry, and my full-time marketing role in higher-ed.

Imposter syndrome is a common term used to describe thoughts and feelings of inadequacy and inferiority despite evident success. But what imposter syndrome fails to take into account systemic oppression failing a group of individuals instead of the other way around.

When I was able to bring awareness to this, I was able to develop tools and beliefs that helped me disempower it, lead with a growth mindset and continue taking up space, unapologetically, even in those spaces that were not designed with people like me in mind.

I hope this episode inspires you to move with a little more confidence in your everyday life and recognize that a little self-doubt is normal. Especially when you're breaking ceilings and disrupting the status norms. Because the truth is, no one really knows what they’re doing. We're all doing things afraid and insecure but that's not a reason to not give yourself the credit that you deserve and honor the state of growth.

If you believed you were good enough today, what would you do differently?

What would I do if I knew I may fail and STILL be okay?
