The delta variant has completely taken the world by storm. Here in Zimbabwe, the virus is said to account for over 80% of all new Covid-19 infections. For the past 3 weeks, this has seen the country moving to the Stage 4 lockdown, as a way to try and safeguard the lives of Zimbabweans.
Complacency is still rife among many citizens, but do we really have to wait for the disease to strike in our families to believe that it is no one's friend?
We spoke to Harare residents who expressed how this variant is causing great strain on their lives
