Charlene S. Aaron is the chancellor of St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Aaron was also recently appointed to Governor J.B. Pritzker's Mid-Illinois Medical District Commission. She is also a gerontological nursing initiatives leader and is nationally recognized as a John A.. Hartford Scholar. She has also been affiliated with the Alzheimer's Association of Illinois since 2007, serving on their board of directors and the scholarly activities committee. Her research focuses on caregivers of persons with dementia.
