Garrett Taylor is living proof of the fact that people can, indeed, change. He began his life like any other normal kid, but beginning in 8th grade he began walking down a dim path that would eventually lead to near-total darkness and an overwhelming feeling of being lost. Moving from State to State, drug-addicted and homeless, Garrett experienced things that most of us could not even fathom. Things that he was brave enough to share in today's episode. While his stories are incredible, perhaps what's most incredible is the sheer contrast between who he was then and who he is today. As I speak to Garrett now - he is a hardworking, happily-married, proud father and husband. But not long ago, he was something entirely different. I was deeply moved and beyond inspired by Garrett's journey and by the man he has become. May this story touch you as much as it did me.
