Athletes constantly grind on the physical preparations for their sport. They also often prepare their mind for their field of play. But what are you/they doing to help themselves as a person? We see athletes fail and it is often a result of their failure to care for the person. We are people first and athletes second. When we see high-level athletes have failed careers due to off-the-field issues, that's the person failing to make elevated choices.
In this episode, Ross shares part of his recent journey with the USA Powerlifitng Raw National Championships and how his self-care routine had a profound impact on his ability to enjoy the experience. There's a great message here for athlete's but the lessons and ideas are for anyone seeking to improve how they experience lives events!
