To mark Black History Month in the UK, in this interview I talk to blockchain pioneer Mrs Deidra Ramsey McIntyre, who with a background in education and journalism co-founded and launched Black People & Cryptocurrency (BP&C).
The prime objective of this group is to educate the Black community online on all things Blockchain and cryptocurrency, as well as challenge the status quo and lack of diversity in the rapidly growing blockchain industry.
Black People & Cryptocurrency has around 10,000 members from around the world sharing information on a myriad of subjects such as investing, mining, and debating blockchain-related topics.
The long-term mission of this group is to launch an accelerator for Black-led blockchain start-ups.
