Description

Remember how nice it was to look at your savings account while the world was shut down and all you could do is work from home and endlessly scroll social media? Us either. We dive right back into the weeds of the podcasting game by sharing how in the 30 days that comprised June 2020, we were able to burn through more money than we ever have before just because we wanted not only to taste what it was like to be out in the world, but to eat an entire fucking buffet's worth. Some have called us financial heroes and patriots for stimulating the American economy with our spending habits as small businesses are trying to recover from 3 months of no revenue; we're not calling ourselves that, but who are we to correct the people who are?
Then, follow us on a journey of further self deprecation where John and Randy (one of us is technically writing in the third person here but it's funny because it's our schtick to not point out which one of us obviously puts more time and effort into these descriptions than the other as we swap this responsibility on an episode-to-episode basis) talk about a couple of "hard resets" they've had in life because of borderline alcohol poisoning. If you're struggling to find motivation in your life, there's nothing like a "never drinking again" morning to put it all into perspective.
John decides to take out his frustration over the fact that a bum shoulder kept him from playing football in High School and potentially going D1 (lol) by lashing out at Randy for picking up the game of golf. Let the record show that on the way to each golf outing, Randy has managed to save an orphanarium that spontaneously caught on fire before he drove by. How many has John saved? 0, because he hates helping the less fortunate. But anyways, after John disparages Randy for picking up a sport that he enjoys, we get into our favorite recurring segment: Bearish & Bullish.
We tie the entire episode together by ending with Excel Tips with John and John's masterplan for blowing up big on Tik Tok (the platform that might be banned by the US Government by the time you're reading this. Yup.)
If you made is this far in the description, thanks for continuing to support us! We hope that some dumb conversations between a couple of friends can bring some laughter to your day when it seems like there isn't much to laugh about currently.
