Laurel O'Malley is the head basketball coach for the CWC Lady Renegades, and Megan's aunt. She started her career as a player with the Sutton Fillies where they won a state championship with an undefeated season, putting them in the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame. With many accolades, Laurel went on to have a very successful career as an athlete at Doane. She is now at CWC where she has recorded her 200th win as a coach and has coached the team to several state tournament runs with a third place finish in 2020, multiple conference and district championships. All while being a teacher and a mom. How does she do it while leaving a lasting impact and the ladies she coaches? Find out in this episode.
