About a week after we dropped our episode on Pixar's latest, Elio, The Hollywood Reporter posted a piece shedding more light on Adrian Molina's original vision for the film.
We were not surprised to learn that the extensive rework of Elio included explicit instructions to make the main character more masculine and less queer-coded. It didn't stop us from being angry about it.
