Description

In this episode we go a little bit deeper into the nature of the serpent's temptation for Eve (and Adam) to skip the developmental process and become "like God" before they were ready.  We also explore the consequences of Adam and Eve eating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, specifically, how evil - forms of deficit, dysfunction, and damage - show up in their relationship with themselves, one another, and with God. We also look at how the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness to turn a stone into bread is also a temptation to skip participation in a developmental process, and pursue a legitimate goal in an illegitimate way.

Genesis 3:6-13
