Description

In this episode we discuss the beginning of the story of Abraham from God's perspective. He waited anywhere from 200 to 1,000 years to initiate the next phase of his plan to ultimately bring human nature to its intended goal. We discuss Abraham being called the "friend of God" and how that reveals God's desire to build a genuine friendship with us. God really does want to meet with us, mature us, and multiply his kingdom in and through our lives.

We also touch briefly on certain aspects of God wanting to talk with us, and why that is important in developing a relationship with God. Here's a link to the blog post we reference in the episode about 4 Steps to Hearing God.
