Description

Chris McQuillan is trained as an electrical engineer and has worked in project management for several social housing providers. He has also worked in the charitable sector, fundraising on behalf of several non-profit organisations and charities.

He has recently published, Chris and Moose's Waggy Walk; Crisis on the Coast Path, Part 1 available on Amazon.

At the age of forty-two he decided that the time for his mid-life adventure/crisis was ripe. He grabbed a tent, rucksack, and his trusted companion Moose, to begin a coastal walk around mainland Britain.

Something Chris tells him self is 'Feel the fear, then do it anyway.' It's something passed onto him by an a-level maths teacher in 6th form. He's uttered it under his breath at every significant event, choice, or interview since. It may be considered a bit of a corny trope, but for Chris, it's a reminder that fear should not be vilified or controlled, it's an ally and something we should all be comfortable feeling. It's OK to feel fear, and it's natural to be afraid or filled with doubt. The trick is to take a deep breath and plunge in regardless.
