When her second child was born with life-threatening special needs, it became clear to her that parents of medical and special needs children are often overwhelmed and undersupported. Combining her corporate planning skills with her love of spreadsheets, office supplies, and personal development, she embarked on a mission to make a difference. She founded MORE for Caregivers, an organization for individuals who are on complex parenting journeys to provide the resources and support they need to take care of themselves while also taking care of their families. Amber is also a contributing writer for The Mighty and the voice behind AaronAndAmbersFamily.com, a resource and advocacy blog where she shares her family's story.
