<p> Study Abroad under Rajiv Gandhi Academic Excellence Scholarship (TRI) scheme for students 1. OR OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT This program provides financial assistance to students selected for pursuing higher studies abroad in specified disciplines for undergraduate level, postgraduate level, PhD and post-doctoral research programmes. </p> <p>. For undergraduate level courses, only subjects related to Humanities (External Affairs) will be considered. This scholarship will be provided for 200 students per year. Although 30 percent of the awards (60) are earmarked for girl students, however, in case the identified award remains vacant, these awards will be allotted to other categories of students. The scholarship will be given only to those applicants who have already received the admit card from the foreign university/institution concerned before applying for the scholarship. During the deadline of the scholarship or after the end of the scholarship period, this scheme has no qualms with respect to the employment opportunities of the recipient of the scholarship. 2. (15 ) * IV * <p> Scholarship Duration and Financial Aid Note that this or the scheme will provide financial assistance for the duration of the course/research as specified by the University/Institute or till the duration of the course mentioned below, whichever is earlier: Post-doctoral research - 1 (one) year. The PhD - 3 (three) years. Master's degree - 1 (one) to 2 (two) years, depending on the duration of the course. K. Bachelor's Degree - Based on the duration of the course. Stay abroad of the student for a period exceeding the stipulated period for a certain course can be considered without any financial assistance. To this effect, the student will have to submit a recommendation letter issued by the competent authority of the concerned educational institution/university, certifying that the longer stay of the said period for completing the course is for the candidate. It is absolutely necessary. However, the final decision in this regard will rest with the Government of Rajasthan.</p> <p> 4. Eligibility Criteria minimum or qualification Pt Rajiv Gandhi Academic Excellence Scholarship: Only those candidates will be eligible who have applied for the scholarship in any of the 50 prescribed Universities/Institutions listed at Annexure-I before applying for the scholarship. The admit card has been obtained from the institute. iii) Persons working in any field are not eligible for the scholarship.<p> 5. Age Below 35 years of age as on July 01 in the year relating to the scholarship allotment.</p><p> (i) The candidate will have to provide an authentic certificate of domicile of Rajasthan. </p> <p> 6. Income Limit The total income of the candidate's family should not exceed Rs.8,00,000/-(Eight lakh per annum). A copy of the updated tax assessment should also be attached with the application. In the event of not filling all the 200 awards under clause 6(1) of the income limit, the applications of those candidates whose total family income is more than Rs.8.00 lakh per annum, their applications will also be considered.
