Jesus calls us to be the salt and light of the Earth-what a sacred privilege! Salt rocks were used in biblical days to preserve food. Likewise, Jesus calls us to impact and "preserve" the culture around us. May we repent and run into this new year with fresh fervor and fire for the work of the kingdom.
