On this episode I invited my friend Pamela to be a guest host. We both grew up in a Mexican household, with older brothers. We both also had strict parents and their favorite answer for why we couldn't do things was "Because you're a girl". We explore our child and teenage years, and how at young ages we tried to understand why we weren't equal with our brothers. We also talk about how it did effect us in different ways. Everything from dating, spending a night at a girlfriends house, talking on the phone, and just going out. All of these had restrictions because we were girls. Is this fair...???? It's a great question I ask you to think about and explore.
