Dr. Angelica “Gel” Cortez is a community organizer, cultural worker, and social entrepreneur. She founded LEAD Filipino in 2015 to encourage civic participation through culturally responsive education with the Silicon Valley’s growing Filipina/x/o American (FilAm) community.
