Roach started creating his music during the late 70’s golden age of analog synthesizers, a time when digital was in its infancy. His albums continue that hands-on tradition using modular and stand alone synthesizers as well as acoustic instruments and have garnered two back to back Grammy nominations in the Best New Age Album category for Spiral Revelations (2017) and Molecules of Motion (2018).
