Banana is a delicious fruit. Its packed full of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Bengalis have it as a fruit, veggie, raw and cooked. We eat the fruit, flowers, and stem of e banana tree. We also use the leaves for cooking and serving food. The tree is also worshipped as Lord Ganesha's wife during Durga Pujo and gets pride of place on all auspicious occasions.
