Description

Whether it be a maxed out Google calendar, constant email, app and text notifications, or the literal speed limit we push as we rush from one place to another to keep up with our schedule – we are all well aware of the speed that we typically live our days. This conversation with one of my favorite professors, Dr. Robert Gallagher, comes from an assignment he took our cohort through in grad school. What does it look like to intentionally pump the brakes in life during the day or week? What are examples of the spiritual practice of slowing down and how do our lives (and relationships) benefit from this intentional but countercultural choice?
