William Sydney Porter was an American short story writer, and perhaps is one of the most celebrated short story writer in English across the globe. Better known by his pen name, O' Henry which he derived from his frequent calling to the family cat, 'Oh Henry'. Often regarded as the American answer to the great French storyteller Guy de Maupassant, O' Henry is also known for his witty style of writing and the short stories filled with surprises and twists at the end.
