Shrikant Verma was an Indian poet and a Member of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh as an Indian National Congress candidate from 1976 to 1982 and 1982 to 1986. Verma was born in Bilaspur city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. He graduated from Nagpur University with a Master of Arts degree in Hindi.
