Nabaneeta Dev Sen was given her name by Rabindranath and has been someone who ruled across the hearts of people who read Bangla literature or even her translated works in other languages, and she does continue to rule even when she is no more. She was a poet, an author, a translator, a critic, a professor and a critic and this stalwart was a recipient of multiple awards in her lifetime. Bhalo Bashar Baranda on the other hand was a very popular column when it used to be published in the 'Robbaar' supplement of 'Sangbaad Protidin' and Nabaneeta came up with different flavours every Sunday.
