A casual reading of Genesis 37:1-11 might leave one wondering how promotion is possible amidst the tremendous adversity and negativity perpetuated in Joseph’s ancestors and siblings. Yet, when God’s hand is on your life and when you remain faithful to Him as your Heavenly Father, He has a way of promoting and elevating you even in the presence of your “enemies”.
