We continue our P.O.P. series with special guest Tiffany Heard. Tiffany Heard is a proud graduate of Howard University, where she obtained a Masters of Social Work. Ms. Heard is a content creator who discusses and documents her solo vacations on her travel blog. Tiffany is also an author of Hues of Africa: Journey Between the Lines. In this episode, Tiffany shares her story of transitioning from travel blogging to her YOLO solo trips to establishing group trips for women to experience and explore. She speaks of the importance of finding someone in your circle who is going to “push you and be resourceful”. Tiffany also drops insight into the importance of visibility, securing accountability partners, stretching yourself beyond your comfort zone, tapping into your network, applying for grants, and potentially coordinating with a “business buddy”.
