Starting the show, an Overdose Prevention Center is coming to Ithaca, or at least that was the plan.

Governor Cuomo is being called on to keep his 2018 campaign promise to establish an Overdose Prevention Center in Ithaca, as well as 4 others in New York City.

The firm reminder is coming from Assemblymember Anna Kelles, Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick, the Southern Tier Aids Program or, STAPs, and members of the NOODNY campaign. They gathered in front of STAPs’ downtown Ithaca office on Thursday for a media event. We speak with STAPs Director John Barry to learn more.

Then, a rerun of an episode from WRFI's Loneliness Project Series.

The series, as it's title may suggest, explore the epidemic of loneliness affecting young people across America. The episode unpacks one student’s story and delves into the resources and gaps on the Ithaca College campus for students experiencing a mental health crisis. A content warning that this piece contains mentions of suicidal ideation and encounters with public safety officers.
