This week, Matt and Kendra discuss Batman's first adventures in the New 52, how well the New 52 functioned as a jumping in point, and how the Court of Owls functions as a dark mirror of what Bruce Wayne could have become. In two weeks we will be reading the first two Hellboy storylines: Seed of Destruction and Wake the Devil, printed as issues #1-4 and 7-11 of the original Hellboy ongoing and collected in individual TPBs with the same names and in Hellboy: Library Edition vol 1.
