Ashley Brasovan was a phenom runner growing up in Florida. She won the Footlocker XC Championship three times and accepted a spot on the Duke team. However, Ashley struggled with an Eating Disorder, and spent time sidelined due to related health issues.

Moving forward, Ashley knew she had to make a change if she wanted longevity and happiness in the sport. She built, what she calls, her Happiness Portfolio to better identify who she was and what brought her joy. She now is a professional runner with Hoka with an impressive resume of podium finishes.

Ashley has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Energy Management from Duke University and works as a Senior Account Executive at McKinstry focusing on developing and implementing renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon neutrality projects for local governments throughout Colorado. She lives in Golden, Co with her husband and pug, Peanut.

If you are struggling with an Eating Disorder, NEDA is available to help you.
