Mario Cristobal will be officially named the next had coach at the University of Miami soon. Mario is the best candidate on paper the Canes have pursued and hired in 20 years.  This is where the  program has been mark timing for 20 years bargain shopping with program that really needed some attention.   So what's next Mario will have to come in and quickly and put out potential fires. Keeping the class together and his current studs in place is crucial. Sources say TVD and James Williams may consider leaving if Manny is fired. James was highly recruited by Georgia and TVD has a good relationship with Whipple at Pitt. We have been on record saying James needs to be with the people he feels care about him. I think Mario will have to come in and establish that quickly, not just with James with all of the kids.  Finding the perfect OC and DC will be pivotal. This is different from years pass, this time he will be shopping with a bag of money to hire the right guys. No more BOGO for the Canes coaching staff finally the admin has seem to have caught up with potential of the program. Their have been questions about a coach that does not favor one side of the ball. He has no specialty is what im told.  He will constantly have to look for coordinators. This is true, but if you pay a man his worth he may feel wanted and sit for a while, stay in place, loyalty , building something all those words come to mind. We just wanted discipline structure and the bar to be raised again. Mario maybe the guy to deliver a few of these things. With the right coach this ship turns around instantly.
