I am sure at some point, you've probably felt overwhelmed and embarrassed about your situation. You may try and hide your addiction from your community, but the pain it causes inside of the home is all encompassing. Megan has suffered from addiction for many many years. She has tried to recover on her own many times. She wanted to be a better mom, a better wife, a better human. But the addiction to alcohol and pills played a vital role in keeping her from being "the woman she wanted to be." She needed to experience freedom from addiction. In early 2020, Megan finally made the decision to seek help. With the assistance of her amazing husband Pat and her wonderful children, Megan began walking the path of sobriety smack dab in the middle of a pandemic.
