I met Ryan on a Facebook group after he shared his story. He shared the message to give others hope. He is on his way to long term recovery. Ryan shares how he lost "his soul in my addiction." His family was present as he fell deeper and deeper into his addiction. On September 2nd, 2017, Ryan attempted to take his own life by shooting himself in the chest with a 9mm.
