Description

Have you ever wondered how you would get sober? Really sober? My next guest opens up about her recovery and how her lifestyle led to a life of drinking and using. My guest, Lane Kennedy, opens up about how "Mutual Aide saved her life!" Lane was blessed with a lifestyle that would cause most of us to have envy. On the outside, her career looked promising. She lived in a beautiful home in California. She had nice cars, 6 closets, 500 pair of shoes and a pedigree dog. But on the inside, she knew she needed help. Lane indicated that, "Her lifestyle said it was ok" to drink and to show up to work and sell homes.

Lane needed to stop drinking but found it difficult. Her friends and clients drank and she knew that drinking was socially accepted. She believed drinking was a normal everyday activity but "what wasn't normal was the way I felt afterwards". Her friends held it together while she remained at home after a night of drinking throwing up, curled up in a ball hiding in her closet. She needed help and needed it now.
