Description

The aim of this short series of podcasts is to see how both  businesses and the voluntary sector have weathered the pandemic storm. We explore  if there have been shared experiences that have helped and potentially if any of these can go on or be developed further to help strengthen the links between the two. The title reflects a key lesson learnt in the episode...

Joining me on this third episode are Julia Hussain, Corporate Fund Raising Manager of We are Beams and James Bradshaw, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Thackray Williams Solicitors.

We are Beams is a charity that supports disabled children, young people and their families in the South East of England. They provide family advice on ensuring they get the best care for their disabled child,  they provide short breaks, overnight stays for children and direct payments, placing the family in the driving seat of their child's care.

Thackray Williams Solicitors is a full service law firm in Kent and South London. They  offer legal services including conveyancing, wills and probates, divorce, lease extensions, disputes, compensation claims and employment law. Their charity of the year is We Are Beams.

I hope you enjoy it and we will have the next episode out next Monday.
