This episode is particularly personal to me as a Black woman who desires to have children. It matters who your attending physician is. A recent report states that Black babies are more likely to die in the care of White physicians. This is not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. This is why representation matters and why voting matters. We have politicians who are hell bent on taking women’s rights to their bodies away. We already face a lot of trauma. Losing our lives and/or our babies in childbirth is unspeakable. Take a listen.
