Hey friends! Welcome to a new month! May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. The conversations about mental health have become more prevalent in today's world. As you can imagine there has been a huge increase in the number of people dealing with and seeking support for their mental health conditions.  In today's episode, I'll give you some background information on National Mental Health Awareness Month, a snapshot of the state of mental health in America, & share powerful and raw spoken word performances from artists who are brave enough to share their own mental health journeys (which will be available on Youtube. Access the playlist below). Join me at the Poets' table!
