Description

A maccan sura , which means the main focus is on the Ones of God. It’s structured around 93 verses. It’s title is from the story of the Ant in the time of the prophet Solomon. Even though Solomon had wealth and power as well as controlling of the wind. The title is Ants ; God gives us a lesson from the smallest of his creations. An ant that has language , knowledge , community and wisdom. Something to reflect on. The introduction on the sura describes the joy of the Quran to the believers. It then takes us to the stories of past prophets and their people and the challenges they went through. Moses 7-14. Solomon and the ant 15-19. Solomon and the bird 20-28. ( the hoopoe bird has language knowledge wisdom and believes in the Ones of God!) Solomon and the Queen of Sheba 29-44. Thamud and their prophet Salih 45-53. Lot and the gay community. Then we are brought back to the prophet Mohammed and what he should say 59-75. Children of Israel 79-85. Nature and the signs of day and night 86 and the ones of God, so explore nature and the world . He has given us signs; Through his creation we get to know God, through his words we also get to know him. The conclusion of the sura 93 ( Praise belongs to God: He will show you His signs so that you will recognize them Your Lord is never unmindful of what you all do).
