The basis of power and privilege comes from the ability to make decisions that affect others but do not affect yourself. As I grew to an adult, I started to seek out morality in places other than religion. One of the places that I found an enriching source of morals were in human rights. If you’re making a tough decision and you hold a position of power or privilege, think about these three things. 1. How is your decision going to contribute to justice? 2.
