Your ability to sell and your ability to communicate and public speaking go hand and hand. Knowing how to effectively communicate is a high-income skill set. You want to be able to articulate your message in your mind to an audience in a way that is persuasive and influences them to make them want to do something and take action. In other words, sales is convincing someone to share the same thought process or viewpoint. Sales is everywhere, so this episode applies in every aspect of life. Whether you are trying to get a promotion or ask someone out on a date, you are essentially trying to get them to share the same thought process as you on why they should give you that promotion or date.
