Alec Resnick of Powderhouse in Somerville, MA shares their struggles in creating an innovative new school within the Somerville school district and the next steps after that plan fell through.
Today, Powderhouse is a center for incredible learning. Though operating separately from the school district, Alec and his team believe it is possible for all schools to create learning centers with the same level of equitable access that our public schools have. All the while providing excellent educational opportunities for the youth of today.
