Richard Capriola has been a mental health and addictions counselor for over two decades. He has been licensed in Illinois and Texas. He worked for over a decade as an addictions counselor at Menninger Clinic in Houston Texas where he treated adults and adolescents diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders. He is the author of The Addicted Child: A Parent's Guide to Adolescent Substance Abuse and its companion parent workbook.
