Today you will hear from Tacy Edwardswho is co-founder of the North Charleston POPS! orchestra and currently serves as its Executive Director. Tacy plays Principal Flute with the POPS!, Second Flute in the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and has been the Piccolo player with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra from 1992 to the present. I asked her beforehand if she would be willing to talk about why music is important to her but also, about how she has worked to build a uniquely positive community of musicians and arts supporters who have all worked together to create meaningful connections and lasting relationships.
