In the 15th episode of Around The Waves on KCOU 88.1 FM, Luca Vitale, and Ryan Waelterman welcome Cole Tussing from Triple Threat. Cole is a communications major at Mizzou. The crew begins with a recap of the men's basketball game Tuesday night when Missouri earned their ninth victory against South Carolina. Next, Around The Waves transition to NFL breaking news where QB Philip Rivers announced his retirement from the NHL, hanging up it after 17 seasons. The crew then discusses this weekend's AFC and NFC Championship Games and then following it up with Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson and debating whether or not if he has played his last snap for the Texans. Last week, the Brooklyn Nets acquired James Harden in a blockbuster trade. Harden has played two games for the Nets and the crew debates what he means to the Nets. Around The Waves then transitions to the MLB where they debate whether or not if they think the San Diego Padres have the best odds.
